Staying connected - advanced
Join this program and start building the skill of staying connected. Learn the basics, have insightful conversations, and use evidence-based daily habits to reinforce the fundamental sub-skills necessary for mastery.
Why you should follow this program
Foster a Culture of Positivity and Support
One of the key subskills in our program is celebrating small wins. By learning how to recognize and appreciate even the smallest achievements, you not only uplift yourself but also contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for your team or community. This practice not only boosts morale but also strengthens bonds between individuals, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment. As you implement this skill, you'll notice a tangible shift in the overall atmosphere, leading to increased motivation and productivity among peers.
Enhance Communication and Relationship Building
Regular check-ins are pivotal for maintaining strong connections with those around you. Through our program, you'll master the art of conducting these check-ins effectively by asking insightful questions that promote open dialogue and understanding. By consistently engaging in these conversations, you'll deepen your relationships, gain valuable insights into others' perspectives, and address any potential issues before they escalate. As a result, you'll cultivate stronger connections built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect, both personally and professionally.
Prioritize Holistic Wellbeing
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the importance of holistic wellbeing amidst work obligations. Our program emphasizes the significance of integrating non-work-related goals into your team's agenda, fostering a culture that values the overall health and happiness of its members. By dedicating time to discuss and support each other's non-work aspirations, you'll create a more balanced and fulfilling environment where individuals feel valued beyond their professional contributions. This holistic approach not only promotes greater job satisfaction but also reduces stress and burnout, ultimately leading to improved performance and retention.
Drive Sustainable Growth and Success
Investing in staying connected isn't just about fostering positive interactions; it's about laying the foundation for long-term growth and success. By mastering the subskills taught in our program, you'll equip yourself with essential tools for navigating complex interpersonal dynamics and challenges effectively. Whether you're leading a team, collaborating with peers, or engaging with clients, your ability to celebrate wins, maintain regular check-ins, and prioritize wellbeing will set you apart as a trusted and influential leader. As you apply these principles consistently, you'll not only foster a culture of excellence within your immediate circle but also inspire positive change on a broader scale, driving sustainable growth and success for yourself and those around you.
Master the skill of staying connected (advanced)
Build the skill, by mastering the sub-skills first.
After the kick-start webinar, you will practice building tiny habits (so small you will have no reason not to do it) in the workflow or in your personal life. You will build this skill habit-by-habit, conversation-by-conversation, focusing on 3 sub-skills.

Have regular check-ins
Meet your trainer
At the kickstart of your 3-6 week skills development program, you will follow a webinar delivered by Sarah Cherif, founder and CEO of SkillsGym. Here are a few things you might like to know about her:
Sarah's background
Sarah began her career at the University of Ghent with degrees in child education and philosophy, quickly realizing her passion for teaching. Faced with the challenge of helping seasoned leaders develop soft skills without any prior corporate experience, she turned this disadvantage into a strength by creating evidence-based, sure-proof plans to build strong soft skills through habit formation and impactful conversations.
Personal life
Sarah's roots are Belgian and Tunesian, and she partially grew up in Washington DC. She currently lives in Belgium with her partner Nils (who is co-founder of SkillsGym Health), and has a dog named Lizzy.
20+ years of impact
Together with her SkillsGym team, Sarah has helped numerous world-class organizations like Samsung, Deloitte, Ikea... and thousands of managers and their teams improve their soft skills. SkillsGym now offers programs to accelerate the mastery of 50 essential leadership, team and well-being skills.
Fun fact
Sarah tests all the habits and conversations in the SkillsGym offer herself; that's more than 200+ habits and 200+ conversations. Most of them have become second nature. Yet, as you'll learn in the webinars, she isn't shy to talk about the failures and frustrations along the way.
